Review: I pick up just about every whiskey release from Quartz Mountain Distillers which is only a few miles from my home in Vancouver Washington. For me their flavor profile typically is a bit earthy and savory. This Syrah Finished Rye Whiskey offers some sweet fruity and jammy notes which pairs nicely with the baking spice and savory notes of their Rider’s Camp Rye. If you prefer your rye with a little sweetness this may be the perfect bottle for you. Cheers!
My Rating: Sip it!
