Review: Garrison Brothers Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a true farm to glass bourbon. The glass shows the variety of grain along with the area of Texas the grains were grown in. After spending 3 years aging in the Texas heat, it is bottled at 94 proof. This whiskey is aggressive with its oak on the nose and on the palate. This is not an easy sipper if you are use to sweeter whiskies like myself. That being said, I know plenty of people who love everything coming out of Garrison Brothers. For me personally, I would not buy another bottle of the small batch. Cheers!

My Rating: Sip it if you like your bourbon’s aggressive.

Ratings Scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
