Review: Bull Run Distilling out of Portland Oregon has a history of sourcing well aged whiskies and finishing them in unique casks before bottling and selling for a great price. This high proof offering coming in around $55 is a great example of that. The wine offers wonderful fruit notes while the base whiskey offers traditional oak, vanilla and butterscotch. These bottles are worth trying if you ever come across them. Cheers!
