Review: I first tried Brixeur’s Whiskies at a local event and really liked what they were doing with spirits at their winery. They had begun distilling and aging their own spirits but were sourcing bourbons and ryes from Indiana in the mean time to have a product to offer. After trying their Bourbon, Rye and Proprietary Whiskies I decided on the later as it was the most wine (think grape and fruit) forward of the bunch.

My Rating: Sip it!

Ratings Scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
