Review: The Triple Oak offering from Angel’s Envy seems like a bit of a departure from their traditionally sweeter finished in both their Bourbon’s and Rye’s. The balanced spice from the 3 oaks may be a welcome addition but the price tag leaves a bit to be desired. Although flavorful and complex I’m not sure it is worth the price jump over other French Oak finished bourbons. Cheers!

My Rating: Sip it if you like a spicier bourbon.

Ratings Scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
