Review: 7 Devils Bourbon Whiskey was gifted to me by a friend that visited the distillery in Idaho and liked the sample they had. The whiskey has a few younger notes to it but does a lot with the 4-5 year age statement as far as the oak and leather presence is concern. The verbiage on the bottle talks a lot about Idaho but it does not make it clear if they are distilling it themselves. The wording would leave to to believe it was sourced from Indiana or Kentucky which is fine but weird to me that it is not disclosed. The whiskey inside is a decent value if you like a more earthy whiskey and would be worth checking out if you were every near the distillery in Idaho. Cheers!
My Rating:
Ratings Scale: Sip/Stock depending on how sweet you like your bourbon. Cheers!
-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?
-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk
-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
