Review: As a longtime “fan” of Jeppson’s Malort, I was excited to see this bottle of 100 proof bourbon show up on the shelf at my local liquor store. I assume this is a sourced blend of straight bourbon whiskies as it smells and tastes a bit familiar. The nose is sweet and candied and the palate is a bit more savory and rich. Overall it is a good bourbon but there are better options for the price in my opinion. If you’re a Jeppson’s fanboy like myself it’s worth trying. Cheers!

My Rating: Sip it

Ratings Scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
