Review: Hoon Juice was gifted to me by a coworker who’s mother purchased the bottle as she was a fan of the book series that featured the fictional character Bob Hoon. The marketing for this bottle is a lot of fun featuring copious amounts of profanity and wit. Sadly the whiskey inside this 500ml black bottle leaves a bit to be desired. It tastes incredibly young and is very very malt forward. That being said it is nice to have a “new make” version of a blended scotch malt so I’m happy it was gifted to me. Cheers!

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
