Review: I have been a big fan of Penelope’s offerings despite typically not preferring 4 grain bourbons. This cask strength offering is deep and rich in both taste and smell but is still approachable and despite being somewhat young, it drinks less than its proof point. For its budget friendly price, this may deserve a spot in your bar. Cheers!

My Rating: Stock it!

Ratings Scale:

-Spit: Don’t bother with this one. If a friend gives you a dram of it, are they even your friend?

-Shoot: Good enough to get you drunk

-Sip: Tasty enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

-Stock: I’d recommend keeping a bottle on hand.
