-Review: As a long time quilt user I have often woken to cold spots due to tossing and turning and the quilt pulling up from the pad despite utilizing the quilt straps. Because of this I was very intrigued when I began seeing review for the ZenBivy bed setup. I ordered a standard ZenBivy Bed system for my wife to try and coax her back out on trail and after testing it myself, I knew I had to pickup the Ultralight Bed system for myself. The sheet will fit on my 20” and 25” wide pads and the quilt is easy to attach using color coded clips. The pillow is made of three parts including the pillow case, the air bladder and a down pillow topper. The pillow case clips into the sheet which means it does not get lost. I do find that the hood on both the insulated and non-insulated versions are a bit too small for me to fit in comfortably but they do ensure the pillow stays in place. Gone are my nights of waking up with cold spots and the quilt itself can be used as a stand alone piece without the sheet system which makes it a very versatile and lightweight system. This is a very expensive setup and that is why it doesn’t rate any higher. This is definitely a buy once cry once situation. Cheers!

May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!
