-Review: As a long time follower of Justin Outdoors on YouTube I was excited to finally see the launch of his ultralight pot/mug lid despite thinking it was a little bit of a gimmick. The lid can replace not only the factory lid but also the stuff sack is it provides a place to store you Mini Bic Lighter along with your 100g fuel cans while securing to the 100mm lip of the pot/mug. This not only keeps everything in one place and stops things from rattling while you hike, but it also keeps the fuel can from forming a rust ring on the inside of your pot! The lid, when securely attached to the pot, cat be used along with a long handle spoon/spork as a handle to prevent having use a Buff or Bandana to grab pot handles that have been heating up over the stove flame. Add in handy measurement conversions, a pour spout and strainer and you have one of my favorite new pieces of gear. Please note this does not fit all pots and the recommend using it on 750ml pots to avoid having the flames come up the side of a shorter pot and melting the plastic. I just make sure my flame stays low enough when I use it with my 550ml Evernew Titanium Mug. Cheers!
-My Rating (out of 5): 5
May the miles you hike be filled with wonder and the glasses you raise be filled with whiskey. Cheers!
