-Review: I picked up my first Jolly Gear Sunshirt years ago after seeing them advertised online. I loved the bright colors and the functional sun protection but always found them to be a bit heavy and warm. This worked out well for sunny days when the temps were low but most of my trips had the Jolly Gear left behind in my closet. When I received an email from Jolly Gear about the new lightweight option, I was excited to place an order so I could get it out on trail. The Topo pattern Triple Crown features the standard features like thumb holes, a pony tail slot and chest pockets, but actually makes me feel cooler while hiking on trail. The white shirt still gets plenty of compliments and I love that I can unsnap to allow for increased ventilation. The oversized hood makes use over a hat or helmet easy and the sleeves are effortless to roll up. This may become my new go to shirt while out on trail. Cheers!
